Six months. That is how long it took Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets to go from $1 billion to $3 billion. A jump that most blockchain networks can only envy.
The network’s on-chain RWA market cap crossed $1 billion in January 2026. It hit $2 billion soon after.
Now, before the middle of the year is even done, the figure stands at over $3 billion. That marks a roughly 300% increase from where Stellar’s RWA market was in early 2025. This is not the work of one big player.
No single whale or outsized product is driving the numbers. Instead, a cluster of institutional-grade tokenization platforms is feeding the growth.
Spiko, a tokenization platform, holds over $1 billion in assets on the network. That is a third of the total. Franklin Templeton’s BENJI token, which represents shares of its OnChain US Government Money Fund, sits at approximately $654 million.
Ondo Finance’s USDY, a tokenized product, adds to the pile. Together, they tell a story of real demand. The Stellar network spent years building the infrastructure for asset tokenization before the numbers began to move.
The infrastructure is now paying off. The pace of adoption is striking.
The climb from $1 billion to $3 billion took roughly six months. For context, most blockchain networks are still daydreaming about that kind of acceleration, according to sources familiar with the sector. Franklin Templeton’s presence on Stellar is significant.
The asset manager’s BENJI token is a traditional money market fund that has been tokenized for on-chain trading and settlement. That is not a crypto-native experiment.
That is a major Wall Street firm putting real capital into a blockchain network. Spiko’s $1 billion-plus in assets suggests institutional demand for tokenized government securities and money market instruments is real and growing. Ondo Finance’s USDY product adds another layer of institutional-grade supply.
The $3 billion figure cements Stellar’s position as one of the most active chains for bringing traditional finance on-chain. That is the takeaway from the network data reviewed by this correspondent. The network has positioned itself as a bridge between traditional finance and blockchain.
The numbers now back that up. Tokenized real-world assets are not a new idea.
But they have been slow to take off. Stellar appears to have cracked something. The infrastructure was built first.
The capital followed. The jump from $1 billion to $3 billion in six months suggests the capital is now flowing faster than the infrastructure can count it.
Whether this pace can hold is an open question. But for now, Stellar has a lead. And the numbers show that lead is widening, not shrinking.
