Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets triple from $1B to $3B in six months

Six months. That is how long it took Stellar’s tokenized real-world asset market to triple from $1 billion to $3 billion. The network crossed the billion-dollar mark in January 2026.

By late June, it had blown past three. The speed is the story here.

For years, Stellar built the pipes for asset tokenization — the infrastructure, the compliance rails, the settlement layer. Little happened. Then the numbers started to move.

Now the pace has become something most other blockchain networks can only envy, according to people familiar with the sector. This is not a single whale pumping the total.

The growth is spread across several products. Spiko, a tokenization platform, holds over $1 billion in assets on the network. Franklin Templeton’s BENJI token, representing shares of its OnChain US Government Money Fund, sits at roughly $654 million.

Ondo Finance’s USDY adds another layer of institutional-grade tokenized product. Together, they form a base that looks more like a market than a stunt. The presence of Franklin Templeton is a signal that cannot be ignored.

A traditional asset manager running a tokenized money market fund on Stellar means the network has crossed a line. It is no longer a crypto playground.

It is a settlement layer for real money market instruments. The BENJI token trades and settles on-chain. That is not experimental anymore.

It is operational. Spiko’s $1 billion-plus in assets suggests institutional demand for tokenized government securities is real.

Not theoretical. Not coming next year. Right now.

The money is moving onto the chain because the chain works for this specific use case. Stellar spent years making that case quietly. Now the numbers are doing the talking.

The jump from $1 billion to $3 billion in roughly six months is the kind of acceleration that changes how people talk about a network. Stellar has positioned itself as one of the most active chains for bringing traditional finance on-chain.

The $3 billion figure cements that position. It is not just a milestone. It is a statement of intent from the market.

What comes next is a question of capacity. The infrastructure that took years to build is now being stress-tested by real volume.

If the pace continues, $4 billion is not far off. But the real test will be whether the growth broadens beyond the current set of products. More issuers, more asset types, more jurisdictions.

The current numbers are impressive. The question is whether they are the beginning or the peak. For now, the data is clear.

Stellar’s on-chain RWA value has crossed $3 billion. The network is no longer waiting for tokenization to happen.

It is happening. And it is happening fast.
